  1. Sigh No More is the second full-length studio album by the legendary German Power Metal band Gamma Ray. It was released in , just one year after the band's debut. As with the band's debut the vocals on this album are handled by Ralf Scheepers (later of Primal Fear) as opposed to Kai himself, who took over vocal duties on the band's fourth album/5(16).

  4. Jul 14,  · Heading for Tomorrow- An album with a quite possotive attitude about life. It tells about the facts of life and how you can have it better with out having to go to heaven or to the afterlife just to live better. Sigh no More- A non conventional Power Metal album but still very nice songs. Gamma Ray's Ultimate Collection is indeed the 5/5(4).

  7. 8. Having seen this two-for-one re-issue with extra bonus tracks, this seemed too good to pass up & get my hands on another Gamma Ray album. The music critics rave about 'Heading For Tommorrow'. Unfortunately I find 'Heading' not as immediate or memorable as 'Sigh' although it does contain good music and musicianship/5(13).
  9. Instead, we have a more varied album, with more attention being placed on the rest of the album. Instead of one mega-epic, Gamma Ray has decided to craft shorter songs that add more depth to the album. Yes, Sigh No More feels more like a complete album than Heading for Tomorrow, and the listening experience is that much better.
